Having had the unfortunate experience of being a victim of a rape, I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through it. Imagine being asleep in your bed and being awakened by a man straddling you with a knife at your throat. Unfortunately, I was very naive about my own protection and he ended up getting away with it. Fortunately, I'm still here to tell about it!  It could have been worse. Now imagine his surprise should I have stunned him with a stun gun...justice would have been served.

I now realize that only I can protect myself. I decided to provide the means for all women (and men) to take a stand against criminals.
